Bill wrote a good piece on some of the reasons for why we outsource our datacenter management to Rackspace. If you're interested, here it is.

I think it makes more sense to outsource the part of the business which is not our speciality and someone else can to do it more efficiently at a better price.

I agree 100% with this article.
