Marisa Keegan

Operations Manager

When I first began hanging out with employees from Mailtrust I distinctly remember feeling like a bit of an outsider. Not because they weren't friendly, or fun, or a blast to hang out with, because they certainly were all of those things. I felt like an outsider because I would meet up with them at a networking event, tailgate, or a local bar and the conversation would inevitably turn to work. Unlike any work conversations I'd ever had with coworkers over a few beers, their conversations were fast paced and full of excitement, positive ideas, and energy. Everyone would get worked up over a new product, a met sales goal, or a company meeting. These people loved their company, their product, and their co-workers. The more I sat as an outsider looking in, the more I knew that I wanted to be a part of it all.

Sure, it's easy for a few employees to be excited about their jobs and to talk shop every waking minute, but to see that type of energy coming from everyone in the office is incredible and truly contagious.

It's not rare to see employees here brainstorming in the hallways, laughing in the break room, talking excitedly (and frequently very loudly) about plans for their next project, or poking fun at the employee who messed up and has to wear the 'dunce' cap.

Having had the opportunity to go from an outsider looking in to an employee looking around, I can easily say that the reason this company is so amazing is because of the synergy, passion, and enthusiasm that we have for our product, our customers, and our fellow employees.
