When I first saw the advertisement for a position at Mailtrust, it seemed great because it combined what I love to do (web development) with getting paid. But most importantly at the time, I would be getting paid.

When I started, the work seemed fairly simple. But two things stuck out to me: the environment and the people. All of a sudden, the money didn’t really matter. I loved my job and couldn’t think of any way it could get better.

Three and half years later, I still love my job, and it continues to get better everyday. Everyday I learn more than I ever thought possible. I am constantly given the chance (and pushed) to innovate, which I love.

As cliché as it sounds, I have grown tremendously as a programmer and as a person through working at Mailtrust. Now I have the chance to give back to the company and help others grow as programmers (and maybe as people too).
