Created by Dan Bernstein and modified and distributed by the folks at tinydns.org, these tools provide secure, fast, and reliable DNS name resolution. They have default configurations that are immune to DNS amplification attacks, as TinyDNS does not make recursive queries and dnscache is not an open DNS resolver by default.  

Customer requests are tracked using this tool from Jesse Vincent at Best Practical. Members of the customer care team at Mailtrust use the administrative interface to view customer comments, update internal information, and respond to customers. A few custom extensions to RT allow the customer care team to quickly access diagnostics for mailboxes and domains.
