Excedent Signs UK based WebMail Solutions as an Indirect Partner

Blacksburg, VA (May 9, 2002) - Excedent today announced the signing of an indirect partnership with WebMail Solutions Limited, a United Kingdom based Web Services Company. Under the terms of this deal, WebMail Solutions will resell the Excedent hosted messaging platform to business customers in the United Kingdom.

WebMail Solutions Limited is the brainchild of Neil Inns and Kelvin Wheat, and was formed after both recognized the benefits of using email as a work tool, but also realized the drawbacks of using of a 'non secure' email facility.

Based in the Lloyd's Building within the City of London, Neil & Kelvin run successful insurance brokerages using state of the art IT software. In light of the way their companies operate, a safe and secure WebMail facility was paramount to developing their business. Kelvin Wheat said, "There are numerous WebMail facilities out there such as Hotmail or Yahoo, but these we felt were not designed for business use. We needed something that would allow us to send and receive as a company, plus provide a high level of security. As nothing suited what we required, we approached Excedent to set up our own."
