Webmail.us Announces New Senior Management Hires and Promotions

Company's Growth Fueled by the Quality of Its People

Blacksburg, Va. (January 11, 2005) - Webmail.us, the proven provider of on-demand email hosting services for small and geographically dispersed businesses, announced the addition of two new management team members, one being a promotion from within. The company recently appointed Kirk Averett as its new director of services and support and promoted Adam Williams to director of sales.

Kirk Averett is responsible for growing and managing the Webmail.us services and support group. Kirk will be tasked with ensuring customer service excellence at every level and will work to maximize the customer satisfaction level of all customers and resellers. Prior to joining Webmail.us, Kirk was a general manager of operations for Charter Communications regional operations in Southwest Virginia. He oversaw customer service & billing, engineering & maintenance, the IT department, contract management and regulatory compliance issues, among others. Previously, Kirk was a systems support manager at Homespire IT where he built and managed the company's help desk and call center. Additionally, Kirk has held IT and systems integration positions in corporate and education environments. Kirk graduated cum laude from Utah Valley State College where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Prior to joining Webmail.us, Adam was the director of sales at Secure Software, where he was responsible for growing their channel sales program. Previously, Adam was the channel sales manager at Plesk, the leader in Web hosting automation. At Plesk, Adam helped his team grow revenues in 82 countries through more than 200 resellers. Adam began his career at UUNET Technologies as an international account executive, where he successfully signed deals worth more than $30 million in revenue for the company in the Central and South American markets. During his first six months with Webmail.us, Adam's efforts have doubled the size of the private-label reseller program. Revenue from these partnerships has helped Webmail.us to dramatically increase monthly profits and helped the company achieve its best financial year ever.
