Step 1:
Creating Email Accounts and Aliases
1.
Log in to the administrative control panel at
https://admin.mailtrust.com, using the administrative ID and password you created
during the signup process.
2.
Click Exchange / Mailboxes.
3.
To create a mailbox, click Add. Once there, fill in all fields including First Name, Last Name, User Name (the part of the email address that appears before the @ symbol), and Password.
4.
Check the box next to Hide from Global Address List if desired.
5.
Click Contact Information and fill in the desired fields.
6.
Click Save to finish the mailbox creation.
To create another address to which can be sent that automatically forwards to your created mailbox (an alias), you can do the following:
1.
Click Exchange / Mailboxes.
2.
Click on the mailbox to which you would like to associate another email address.
3.
Click Email Addresses.
4.
Under Add Email Addresses, type in the desired alias name and click Add Address.
5.
If desired, click the radio button under Reply-to Address if you would like all mail sent to your primary address to reply as the alias instead.
6.
Click Save to complete the changes.
TIP: Most likely, you will want to create email addresses identical to those you have been using with your previous email hosting provider.

Step 2: Checking Your Email
It may take up to 48 hours for computers around the world to recognize your new domain name. In the
meantime (and anytime), you can check your new email accounts online through webmail:
1.
2.
Enter your email address and password, as you created in the control panel during Step 1, above. (Be sure to
enter your email address and password, and not your Administrative ID and password, which are only for
logging in to the control panel.)
3.
New email will arrive in your inbox.
TIP: If you send yourself a test email from here, it will likely arrive in your inbox—but that is not
necessarily an indicator that all email is starting to arrive at this new account. If you want to send a test
email, please send it from another account that isn't hosted on our system.
Step 3:
Setting Up Your Desktop or Wireless Email Software
Now that you're set up, the Transition Team's mission is complete. In the future, if you ever need any
assistance, our Customer Care team is here to help.
Additional Note: Directions for setting up mail clients and wireless devices can be found in the administrator control panel.
